The Lions head down to Potch Rustenburg in search of their first competitive win in the 2010 season.

Will they get it? If not, they may have to poach even more Sharks under 21s to try and reboot their season for the umpteenth time!

Leopards: 15 Russell Jeacocks, 14 Deon Scholtz, 13 Jovan Bowles, 12 Neill Jacobs, 11 Dumisane Matyeshana, 10 Cecil Dumond, 9 Michael Bondesio, 8 RW Kember, 7 Wilhelm Koch (captain), 6 Victor Joubert, 5 Rynard Landman, 4 Antonie Gronum, 3 Philip Lemmer, 2 Gavin Williamson, 1 Divan Kotze.
Replacements: 16 Marthinus van der Westhuizen, 17 Eric Coetzee, 18 Edrich Linde, 19 Riaan Swanepoel, 20 Jean Tiedt, 21 Kempie Rautenbach, 22 Danie Dames.

  • @Hertford Highlander (Comment 15) : They are about the same…Pumas supposed to be weaker as they only got promoted to the top section at the end of last season so it’s their first season back in top Currie Cup section

    ….. i’m sure Mitchell can make an impact with the Lions. I use to hear that he was a bit of an idiot when he coached the AB’s.

    …but i think he has done an admirable job this year with the Force.

    ….i have included a couple of them in my FL Side that’s how confident i am 😎

    But they played some excellent footy at the tail end of the season when they got their first stringers back.

    Played well to beat Stormers, Crusaders and the …..Highlanders !
