it is amazing the difference the backline looks when there is a great distributer at 9 and stefan doesn’t kick good ball. well done stefan and well done plum for not putting rory on the field. lets hope this mindset stays and we can improve every game. i am pleased the sharks never kicked possession away, the difference it made was great. the boks could learn something.

Mvovo’s proving he’s a consistent performer and scorer of tries on the wing… exatly the characteristics that make a GREAT player.
Andwasn’t it great having JP back this week… almost looks like the JP of old. I reckon he’ll be back in the End of year Bok squad. Or maybe even sooner if the selectors panic after we loose in Brisbane next week! (There’s a fundamental problem in our Bok team at the moment, not something that can be fixed with a bit of tweaking like the team and coaches eluded to last week!)
If anything, Burden showed the pace and agility that a hooker should have (take note John Smit) and Ruan Pienaar showed what we’e missing by keeping Januarie on at scrumhalf. There’s no denying Januarie is a good player, but you only realise what we’ve been missing when Pienaar eventually came on… if only PDV had given him game time during the Italian tests, we could’ve proved what a lot of us have been saying for some time now (expect WPW 😈 )
Great having JPP back! Not going to have him for long though – Boks are desperate for him….AB’s targeted that side, JDV was a weak link there, dont think there is anyone over there at the moment remotely good enough.
