The U19 and U21 teams to face WP on Saturday have been announced.
The U21 team backline has the Cronje brothers at scrumhalf and flyhalf, which should make for some entertaining interplay as they know each other so well. Piet Lindeque from the U19 team retains his place in the U21 backline and continues to impress. Kyle Cooper gets a run this weekend with the U21 and should run WP to bits.
U21 team:
15. Wynand Pienaar
14. Mark Richards
13. Piet Lindeque
12. Dwayne Jenner
11. Rosco Speckman
10. Guy Cronje
9. Ross Cronje (Captain)
8. Lubabalo Mtembu
7. Cameron Dunlop
6. Jaco Otto
5. Peet Marais
4. Jandre Marais
3. Francois Hanekom
2. Kyle Cooper
1. Dale Chadwick
Replacements:
16. Hannes Snyman
17. Julian Redelinghuys
18. Meyer Swanepoel
19. Daniel Ojiambo
20. Cobus Reinach
21. Willie du Plessis
22. Howard Mnisi
U19 Team:
15. Jaco van Tonder
14. Kieran Goss
13. Kyle Wilkinson
12. Heimar Williams
11. Mandla Dube
10. Ryno Olivier
9. Dwayne Kelly
8. Siseko Jafta
7. Rynardt van Wyk
6. Francois Kleinhans
5. Nick Dodgen
4. Mike Williams (Captain)
3. Nick Schonert
2. Adrian de le Rey
1. Danie Mienie
Replacements:
16. Gideon Bruwer
17. Riaan Basson
18. Paul Saunders
19. Peet Coetzee
20. Reef Naiken
21. Kayde Fisher
22. Jacques Lombard
23. Alwyn Janse van Vuuren

Like that U21 centre combo, and hope Ojiambo gets a good run out: the second Beast.
I would have
20. Cobus Reinach
21. Willie du Plessis
starting and the Cronje brothers on the bench.
The game moved much quicker once Reinach came on and du Plessis, though he’s maybe not as talented as Cronje put the players around him into space more than both Cronje brothers did.
Go Baby Sharks ❗
Go Sharkies ❗
Go Sharks ❗
Well Well all the Sharks teams are going to win
So
eeeaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Going to be a long afternoon.
Issiet die Sardientjies ? 😆 😆 😆
@Charlie (Comment 6) : Ons U19s doen goed, die U21s is klas maar die groot manne weet nie so mooi nie.
I agree with “Letgo” that Jaco Reinach and Willie du Plessis should be starting for the u/21’s. I think the Cronje brothers are a bit over rated.
The u’19’s had 2 unfortunate losses in consecutive weeks. I think this can be the weekend that they can bounce back. I think the secret weapon is at no 9. He has the potential to turn the game around.
The big Sharks have everything going for them in the season so far and I think that they can pull this one off.
@Kaygee (Comment 8) :
A Dwayne Kelly fan are you? I think he is a brilliant player..
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 9) : I guess I am a fan of his but also a fan of the rest of the team. They really have the players to end in the top two or three of the competition.
I’m getting contradicting results for the Bulls game, one where they lose 40 – 39 and the other where they win 39-38…
…which one is true????

@ Kaygee
I agree with you, both these teams have a lot of potential and can easily get to the top of their respective divisions.. Let’s hope we can beat WP 3 – 0 on the day..
@ Letgo
The Bulls beat Griquas by 1 point, 39 – 38. Viljoen missed a last minute conversion to seal a victory.
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 13) : Was that Viljoen or Olivier?
@Kaygee (Comment 14) :
Olivier.. Sorry.. 😳
