I can likes to confirmate (I made up that woord) that Vodacom Western Province coach Allister ‘Toetie’ Coetzee has made five changes to his side to face the Barloworld ‘Patat Trapper’ Pumas at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit (daar anderkant nerens) this coming Friday evening.
Conrad Jantjes moves back to his familiar fullback position while his namesake the Sharks bound Conrad ‘Overrated’ Hoffman collects splinters on the wood. JJ Engelbrecht comes into the side on the right wing while veteran flyhalf Willem De Waal replaces the injured Lionel Cronje at 10.
In other changes Wicus Blaauw comes in for JD Moller, the latter dropping out of the 22 altogether. Francois Louw wears the no 7 jersey with the highly rated furute Bok captain Nick Koster dropping to the bench.
Springbok hooker Hanyani Shimange is shockingly left on the bench!! π―

@robdylan (Comment 1) : The boys got jokes today
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 2) : he should write more original stuff, this lad. He’s got the goods π
‘highly rated future Bok captain Nick Koster’ – highly rated only @ Bishops π
@Megatron (Comment 4) : this oke doesn’t get irony…
@Megatron (Comment 4) :
Hey!! Jake White rated him ok?? π
(clutching at straws) π
Aussies Andrew Lees in action, Hope he lees the game and in the Mamparra Stadium in Nelspruit.
A welcome return by Pieter Louw π He needs to score me some FL this weekend π
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 2) : Yeah, he’s a funny man!
I particularly liked the bit where he says :
“WP should take this one comfortably!! ”
He sure has a future in stand up comedy π
Wonder if Province selected such a strong side in anticipation of Earl Rose playing for the Leopards this weekend? π
Nice one Weasel.
Nick “Get Your Hands Off Me” Koster…
@blueski palooski (Comment 10) : bwaaaaaa
Oh, if only I was allowed to reveal what I know π
@robdylan (Comment 12) : Come on Rob..I promise I won’t tell anyone π
@robdylan (Comment 12) : Please don’t say Mr Elastoplast is coming to the Sharks…actually makes me feel a little nauseus thinking about it π₯
@blueski palooski (Comment 14) : I have sworn on my mother’s life not to say anything.
But no, Earl isn’t looking at the Sharks
@robdylan (Comment 12) : not fair!! π₯ please tell me he`s going to the bulls… π the more acceptable option is the Kings…
@blueski palooski (Comment 14) : Mr Elastoplast!! π π
@VanWilder (Comment 16) : all will be revealed in due course, I’m sure.
Earl is going home to WEEPEE!!!
Skotland toe met Earl.
@robdylan (Comment 15) : Good to know.
I can cancel my add for sharks memorabilia on Gumtree! π
Earl is a far better player than he’s given credit for…. that’s my opinion anyway.
@robdylan (Comment 22) : He still can’t tackle though π
@robdylan (Comment 22) : Rob, I agree with a fair amount you say on here, but come on man π― ! The guy is u-s-e-l-e-s-s! The only credit he should get is for being the only player to wear gloves in the modern game! When Fitzpatrick said he was the worst player ever to play Super Rugby,he was bang on.
@Big Fish (Comment 19) :
You take that back RIGHT NOW!! πΏ
the best try earl was part of was the one Ryan Kanko scored at Kings Park in the CC… last year i think… where earl just let ryan run 50 meters around him and he didnt even touch him.
Rob, i get what you see in him. His got that talent to spark something from nothing, but he tends to sprak nothing from something way more…
Earl has talent but is mentally fragile.
Willem de Waal has no talent but is mentally strong.
It just goes to show…
EARL is either going to a SA team or overseas….where Edinburgh or Glascow warriors might be the (un)lucky recipients of his services…
Earl has (had?) the potential to be a really good player, but didn’t live up to it. He had some moments of pure brilliance. Unfortunately, those were interspersed with far too many really shocking moments.
@Pink Ice (Comment 28) : to be fair, in last years EOYT`s second stringers he was the only player worth looking at…
@VanWilder (Comment 30) :
I am just saying what I read…
WHOOOOOHOOOO!!! Just got an Invite to play in the Aramis Day at Dainfern!!! π
@ wpw, Hoffman, overrated ?
I have it on good authority that as we speak, he is driving down van reenens pass on his way to durban. He has bought a house already!
( this is a true story, I made it up all by myself)
π π π
@Pink Ice (Comment 32) : Can-can dancers thingy ?
GO EARL ROSE !!! π π π
@Big Fish (Comment 19) : My first thought as well
@Greg (Comment 29) :
The fact that he has a crap attitude doesnt help!! π
@robdylan (Comment 22) : I’ve never had much of a problem with his playing ability but his attitude and ways stink to high heaven.
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 39) : Why oh why do you lot bring Earl in othe WP thread, lets start with Luke Watson!
@PaarlBok (Comment 40) : Good to have you back on the site Oom
@Pink Ice (Comment 31) : where did you stumble on such informative reading? π
@Greg (Comment 34) : its not van reenens pass, its van ryns pass and its not durban its durbanville… welcome to cape town earl… π
@Charlie (Comment 35) :
GOLF!! Fainfern??? Halooooooo… π π
@VanWilder (Comment 42) :
Die Beeld! π
@VanWilder (Comment 43) : π π
@robdylan (Comment 22) :
DUDE you are off your rocker.
So Earl and his brother are courting the French clubs if their agent is to be believed.
