The Blitzbokke have another man down, after learning that Marius Schoeman the only forward in the squad with good experience, fractured his eye socket in a warm up game.

He will be replaced by Neil Powell. Powell has good experience fortunately. He has Captained the side on a few occasions. He lacks pace, but is strong on the ground and makes the tackles. We have lost a little pace, but we have gained a better ground player, hope it turns out to be a positive for us.

Will post any more news regarding any squad changes within the next week. I hope not.

The Blitzbokke will be playing in the “CWG” Sevens tournament from the 11-12th in India.
