Earl Rose has been given another chance to resurrect his rugby career in South Africa by signing a one year deal with the Griquas .
Rose who has a history of controversy and ill discipline was booted out of the Lions camp coach after walking out on the unions 7’s squad at a tournament a few weeks ago, he also turned down an offer to play for the Leopards, he turned down the Leopards offer by not pitching up for a training session after agreeing to play.
It is alleged that Scottish sides Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors were keen to sign Rose.
The signing of Rose seems strange as Griquas coach Dawie Theron is known as a no nonsense character and it will be interesting to see how this episode unfolds.

Its difficult to be harsh on him , I have been a Rose fan hopefully he comes right at Griquas.Take lessons from Aplon , Jantjies, Killian guys smaller but tackle with heart.On attack he can be sublime.
