Blue Bulls flank Derick Kuün has been cleared by a SARU judicial committee of striking Sharks hooker Bismarck Du Plessis in last weekend’s Currie Cup semifinal.
The 26-year-old was cited under Law 10.4 (a) for striking Du Plessis during the 56th minute of the game.
Kuün, who ran the risk of missing the beginning of next year’s Super 15 if found guilty attended the hearing in Cape Town on Friday, after it was originally postponed from Tuesday

@Jarson (Comment 1) : No pun intended 😳
@Jarson (Comment 1) : I agree, he smacked the guy on the head and got off for it. 😉
Well done. So if you are losing the final game, you can do what you want and not get punished?
@KSA Shark © (Comment 3) : thought it was a bit lower than the head. Unless by head, you mean…well, you know.
@CapeShark (Comment 5) : snigger 🙂
😉 Bulls can do whatever they want didn`t you know this?

Bakkies should really feel hard done by for the ban he got after his head butt on Aplon.
Wynie Strydom probably forgot to make the money transfer in time to save him . . .
