So ladies, gents and WP fans, the CC Final is almost upon us, the prayer beads are already getting worn, and the nervous banter is surely to begin soon.
Now, as many of you may know, I moved to Cape Town many years ago to take advantage of the relative paucity of competition amongst heterosexual males in the shadow of the mountain. I have made a pretty good fist of it thus far, and amongst the many other charms the city has to offer, we have some lovely Spring weather and perfect braai conditions.
So, my thought is to perhaps have a SW braai to catch the game, or alternatively, to meet up at a likely watering hole to watch the Sharks beat the Drag Queen 15.
This is just a spur of the moment thing, but I’m sure it will be fun, so if we have any takers, we can all meet at wpw’s house in Bishopscourt, or any other place that catches the eye.
