You guys have probably noticed that there’s no rugby happening.
Herewith, I give you the freedom to talk about whatever you want! Just stay within the site rules, of course!
How about music? What should we be listening to? Anybody discovered anything new and exciting out there in the musical world? Let’s find out, shall we?

Anyone have a listen to the new Zebra and Giraffe cd?
I’m going to start off by shamelessly plugging MY band
http://www.somevelvetmorning.co.uk/
I call them MY band cos I own a 10000th share in them… if they make it big, I will probably make like £100 🙂
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 1) : no – keep seeing references to this band on Twitter, but haven’t actually heard them. Is it a SA act?
oh – this is my kinda thread 😆
what about weather – dreary and gloomy in Joburg – feels almost like London 😐
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 1) : “Collected Memories”… is that the one?
Great idea Rob!
@Clay – I love Zebra and Giraffe.. awesome SA band!
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 7) : Ricardoooooo!
Did they let you out of the cage?
@robdylan (Comment 8) :
Not really..
I am sneaking online while the bosses are out!
I am hating my job at the moment..
@robdylan (Comment 3) : Yes dude, I freaking love Z & G , just want to know how the new album sounds
@robdylan (Comment 6) : Yebo
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 7) : Yes dude, first SA band I’ve ever made a big fuss about.
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 10) : they are really good… production quality is superb
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 9) : hang in there, bud 🙂 Nearly Christmas
@robdylan (Comment 12) : Collected memories was a one man effort. 😯
Zebra and Giraffe?? Sounds like a cd for kids that Steve Hofmeyer or Karike Keuzenkamp would make! 😆
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 15) : 😆 😆
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 15) : you mean Ed Jordan and Alan Glass 🙂
ok – so anyway, my favourite band is STILL Depeche Mode.
@robdylan (Comment 18) :
Im more of an 80’s lover..
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 19) : dude… they were formed in 1978 and released their first album in 1981 🙂 All their best work was done in the 80s!
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 19) : I struggle a bit with other 80s bands, though… there were lots of them that I loved at hte time, but few really translate well now.
An the reunion thing is just appalling… every man and his dog has now got back together for one last pop at fame.
I reckon of the bands that I used to like back then, it’s only really A-Ha that I can still stand now. Along with DM, of course, but they just never stopped.
Def leppard, Guns n Roses, Depeche mode, ZZ Top, Alphaville, Chess, The Cars, Crowded house, The cure, Siouxie and the Banshees, Terence trent D’arby, Erasure, Eurithmics, Foreigner, Frankie goes to hollywood, Tears for Fears, Yazoo, Midge Ure, Cindy Lauper…too name a few!
@robdylan (Comment 21) :
When was Queen formed?
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 22) :
I havent heard of some of those bands!!
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 23) : 74-ish?
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 22) : ooooh – some really really good names in there.
The Cure… now there’s a really good band that I didn’t completely appreciate at the time.
@robdylan (Comment 25) :
I think Freddie Mercury is an absolute legend!! Along with Paul McCartney..
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 22) :
Terence Trent d’Arby: Holding on to you – many parents of wholesome daughters to whom I owe apologies thanks to that song.
Was listening to Maxwell while working on my paper last week: great lounge music. Have a listen to “Changed” if you are a man who has ever met a girl who makes you wanna stop your doggish ways.
@Big Fish (Comment 28) :
I will need to get hold of that song then 😉
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 29) :
Which one? The implications are rather different for each. 😉
@Big Fish (Comment 30) :
The Maxwell song..
Anything by Mumford & Sons…
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 31) :
The gentleman in me says :Aaaaaaawwwwww!
The dawg says: “Pour out a lil liquor for the homies who have gone on before”… 😉
@Big Fish (Comment 33) :
You are hitting top form at the wrong time of the year!
Its cool – I can have a life again!
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 23) : @robdylan (Comment 25) : Brian May & Roger Taylor formed “Smile” in 1968. John Deacon & Farrokh Bulsara(Freddie Mercury), joined in 1971, when they renamed the band to “Queen”.
(Your useless trivia for the day 😆 )
@Big Fish (Comment 35) : So we’re having a Jameson or 2 this summer?
@Greg (Comment 36) :
Wow.. Awesome stuff.. Thanx Greg!
All I know is the man can sing..
Was the band name Queen because of Freddy?
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 38) : Could sing, not any more, sadly 🙁
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 39) :
They were all batting for the other team, as far as I know..
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 39) : It was a name they came up with together, but at Freddie’s suggestion. Or so the story goes
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 41) :
Really? then I pressume the name is very fitting! Thanks goodness they never visited Newlands! 😆
@Greg (Comment 42) :
Ya see! 😆
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 43) :
They only ever performed in Sun City as far as I know.
For shizzle Claytie!
@Big Fish (Comment 45) : nice
AC/DC; Aerosmith; Beastie Boys; Deep Purple; Elliot Minor; Feeder; Foo Fighters; Green Day; Ramones; Sex Pistols; Guns ‘n Roses; Dr Dre; Jay-Z; Linkin Park; Limp Bizkit; Marilyn Manson; Metallica; Muse; My Chemical Romance; Nickelback; Nirvana; Offspring; Panic at the Disco; Pearl Jam; Smashing Pumpkins; 30 Seconds to Mars; Jimmy eat World; etc; etc; etc………..
C’mon you Bles fans. Don’t be skaam. Show yourself. 😈
Let the man RIP please McLovin! 😆
@McLovin (Comment 47) : Very nice selection there McLovin….just missing Pixies in that mix. Another one of my favourites must be Rodriquez..pity he only made 2 albums.
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 49) :
😈
@Pokkel (Comment 50) : All gooood. 😎
@McLovin (Comment 51) :
Everytime we drive past his Memorial site – I make sure its in order and that he has nor planned a re-incarnation stunt! 😳
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 53) : Keep up the good work. 😈
Lawrence John Gabriel Bridges 😯 😆
@McLovin (Comment 48) :
Im more of a Kurt Darren fan..
Asking me for musical recommendations is akin to the 2nd opening of Pandora’s Box… Prepare to listen to me proselytize deep into 2054…
So anyways, currently I am completely and utterly obsessed with Bon Iver’s For Emma Forever Ago. From what I can surmise Justin Vernon (Bon Iver’s one and only member) apparently sequestered himself in a remote, snowbound cabin for four months, where he wrote and recorded his debut solo album. I’m not sure what precipitated the whole retreat from civilization, but the album exudes such a strong sense of loneliness and remoteness that it’s hard not to imagine some sort of tragedy behind it. It’s a pretty bleak album (it actually makes me think of Cormac McCarthy’s novel The Road), but it is super-evocative and utterly, utterly absorbing.
On an unrelated tangent, I’m not generally very lyric-orientated, but I’ve been listening to a lot of older Modest Mouse albums, and Isaac Brock has such a cool turn of phrase that I just have to stick earphones on and haul out the lyric sheets. Sample lyric:
“Trying hard to get my mind clear, I push things out my mouth and get refilled through my ears”
Hurt by Johnny Cash. Forget the fact that it was originally a Nine Inch Nails song, the man in black owns it. Respect.
Off to a meeting now. More in the coming hours, days, weeks, months and years…
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 56) : Really? 😯
@Culling Song (Comment 57) :
Watse taal praat jy? Ek verstaan nie!
@McLovin (Comment 58) :
Kaptein, span die seile.. thats more my song.
I never really liked oom Bles or Die Steve..
@Culling Song (Comment 57) :
WHO??? 😯 😆
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 59) :
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 60) :
I like beibie tjoklits.. 😀
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 63) :
Ag nee..
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 63) :
Oom diep stem is another goodie..
I’m also listening to a LOT of Beatles (White album & Rubber Soul), Beach Boys (Pet Sounds) and, um, Lily Allen.
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 63) : @Richard Ferguson (Comment 65) : You speaking code?
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 65) : Oom diep stem? Sounds dodgy to me. Like something an ex-altar boy would write. 😈
Who’s oom Diepstem??
Hey Rich – I have no choice but to like baby chocolates with a 3 yr old..add to that Kaptein span die seile, and Generaal generaal, and Lianie May se Bel my (of so iets)… 😆
But I have to say my 3yr old also told me the other day to turn the volume up when they played ACDC thunderstruck on radio!! 😆
@Culling Song (Comment 66) :
You just as weird as your avatar?? 😆
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 69) :
Theuns Jordaan
@Culling Song (Comment 66) : Compared to some names mentioned here, Lily is a musical genius. 😈
@McLovin (Comment 68) :
Hahaha.. Im no ex altar boy..
@McLovin (Comment 72) :
Lily Allen is fantastic.. I’m a big fan!
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 73) :
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 74) : Why am I not surprised. 😈
@McLovin (Comment 76) :
Whats wrong with her?
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 77) : Nothing. 🙄
Parlotones 😉
@McLovin (Comment 78) : didn’t you have the same avatar same time last year 🙄
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 70) : what’s weird about the Beatles 😕 ❓
One side of me likes Bauhaus, The Doors, Alien Sex Fiend, The Assylum Kids, No Friends of Harry, Squeal, Sugardrive, Springbok Nude Girls, PIL, Rammstein, Liars, The Monks, Ian Dury & The Blockheads, The Mighty Lemon Drops, Three Days Grace, The Black Angels, Billy Talent, Arctic Moneys, Guano Apes, Cypress Hill, etc.
And my other personality likes Yello, Bob Marley, Burning Spear, Dellé, Mumford & Sons, Elbow, Band of Horses, The Black Seeds, Boo, Broken Bells, Calexico, Fleet Foxes, etc.
Don’t ask
@rhineshark (Comment 82) : I love Elbow!
@rhineshark (Comment 82) : Ian Dury? Is that the guy from the Lightning Seeds?
@robdylan (Comment 5) : sounds kinda like U2…
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 27) : How about John Lennon Rich btw big promo at bamboo (sushi) on sat did you hear?
this one is good but me time is up will c all 2 morrow and i’ve a lot to ask and will want and answer 2 all
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 19) : good years of music
Saw Hoskins arbing around the Pavilion last Friday. He looks weird in a baggy t-shirt and jeans.
@ruggabugga (Comment 86) : i’m on my way to bed but i’ve sth in mind i remember a band i went and saw but the memoirs are bad eish but when i was like let me gv this one right about 15 maybe younger or older the guy i loved was JOE Doylan he was well at the time great and i also went to c JD at the states theater in durbs i think i was about just hv to think about the years to long ago but he was great oh and this one also went 2 see JOHN PAUL YOUNG 2 and must say sth it was the days the good old days
😉
@chaz (Comment 90) : Joe Dolan?
don’t have to be a mma fan to enjoy this so,enjoy!
http://www.mmaroot.com/phil-baroni-vs-dave-menne/
@rhineshark (Comment 82) : A man after my own heart!
Which reminds me, Liars’ Sisterworld has to be my album of 2010, and Scissor is easily one of my all time favourite songs (yet another one with death as a central theme; I’m starting to think I may have issues after all).
Seeing that this is a shyte talking thread!, What about an update on the Mapoef saga?
@SharksRTB (Comment 94) : he’s injured again. Gotta love karma
@rhineshark (Comment 82) : Squeal…wow I am a huge fan of Squeul. I have both my Squeal cd’s signed my the band. I saw them the first time in a beer tent at the Grahamstown festivile before they released their first cd and loved them ever since. I saw them live 4 times and they had a great live show. I didn’t think anybody would remember them. 😎
Hey Rob
I8 dont know if you visit the other rugby sites much but Ive picked up on Keo and Ruggaworld that an old blogger from those sites has passed away. He blogged under the name of Jinx. Really sad news as he was such a good natured person and always ready to talk music.
Linkin park just takes the cake guys! Or maybe that’s just me! 🙂
gotta love that brendan venter interview (again)!!!
@ruggabugga (Comment 86) :
I heard about it.. I am going to try squeeze myself a seat down there.. it might be rather packed though..
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 100) : when youve been there before have you had to book ever?
@Ben (Comment 98) : U2 still for me!
@ruggabugga (Comment 101) :
Not ever no, but I see you are not allowed to book.
It’s a shame, because it is really cheap. But even a normal lunch time eat as much as you like for R65 is a good deal.
@ruggabugga (Comment 102) : different style of music but u2 is good
@Pokkel (Comment 96) : Squeal was, to me, much like Boo! and Wonderboom, an exceptionally good live band that never quite managed to transfer the magic to their cd’s. Which is not to say the cd’s are bad, but they just don’t quite have the same personality that their stage shows did…
On the positive side, as a producer, Squeal lead man Dave Birch is doing some wonderful work helping to keep the SA music scene vibrant and vital.
@robdylan (Comment 5) :
Jeez dude.. thats a gem of a band to get involved in.
I took a listen, and they are awesome!
Wonderboom. What an awesome act. Cito had something as a frontman, for sure. Reminds me a lot of Dave Gahan. Never Ever Ever is still one of my top 5 ever.
Salmo, I know about Michael. Great guy and will be missed.
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 69) : My two year old has, thanks to the influence of her mother, decided that Tracy Chapman is the be-all and end-all of the musical universe…
Also, in the afternoons when I get home she now insists I turn on the hi-fi and dance with her, which naturally I love doing, but is probably a bit painful to behold, given my complete lack of rhythm. Gotta love being a parent!
Tracy Chapman. Beaut. Fast Car is still one of the best ever examples of a story told through music. Breaks my heart every time I hear it
@Ben (Comment 98) : High Five!
@robdylan (Comment 109) :
Talking ’bout a revolution” – that chick was awsome!
Who remember the Waterboys? Whole of the moon?? Music is life!
Reks – nothing wrong with Beatles as long as you say there is notyhing wrong with ABBA! 😉 My parents still had those green and pink see-through LP’s of the Beattles – Yellow sunmarine and all that lekker sing-along tunes!
@robdylan (Comment 109) : Yes sir, as a bit of a youngster compared to you fogeys even I must say that is one extremely tight choon
Just Jinjer is not horrible
Elton John for anybody?
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 114) :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfY5566r0QA
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 114) : Yep 😳
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 116) :
Noooooiiiittt????? 😯
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 116) :
I kinda enjoy his music, especially to just chill on a long drive..
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 117) :
What the problem is?
CHRISTMAS TIME !!!
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 119) :
Its CLAYTON, you know! 🙄 😆
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 118) : Reg? Got some nice tunes, that lad. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is my fav
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 110) : down low 🙂
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 117) : Elton is a legend.Fact.
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 121) : My folks bombarded me with all sorts of tunes i still love to this day, i dig The Carpenters, Elton John, Led Zeppellin, The Beatles , Engelbert, Cliff Richard, Tom Jones etc , all the while being a lover of proper rap music and deep and funky house tunes.
Speaking off old bands dire straits are legends!
Guess you could say I just like music
@Ben (Comment 126) : robdylan likes this
@robdylan (Comment 128) : walk of life!
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 125) : Speaking of rap, is anyone else as perplexed as I am over the sudden hype surrounding Die Antwoord? Not that I particularly dislike them per se, it just seems to me that they’re more of a novelty act, and that any (and all) of Watkins Tudor Jones’ previous groups (Max Normal, Constructus Corporation, Fantastic Kill) were actually superior. Sort of a style over substance situation they’ve got going on…
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 111) : Claiming to like music while saying you dislike ABBA is like saying you like breathing but can’t stand the smell of oxygen…
Just noticed that I sure do end a lot of sentences like this…
@Ben (Comment 126) :
How could I forget them..
And wait for it…. Kris Kristofferson..
@Culling Song (Comment 131) :
I LOVE ABBA – fact! Think you mis-understood me!
@Culling Song (Comment 130) :
i dont know about tha antwoord – lets just say in plain terms…they dont particularly tickle my fancy…
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 133) : man dire straits has their own unique way of playing the guitar and I love it! Talking about guitars how about santana?
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 134) : Now I think you misunderstood me, madame Ice! My statement regarding ABBA was not aimed at you; more of a general comment about the genius of ABBA.
@Ben (Comment 136) : Talking about guitars, I’ve always like Keith Richard’s response to being asked to classify his style of play: “4 strings, 2 fingers, 1 **sshole”.
@Culling Song (Comment 137) :
😳 😉
@Culling Song (Comment 138) : who is keith?
@Ben (Comment 140) : are you kidding?
@Culling Song (Comment 105) : Squeal was fantastic live…really knew how to get a crowd going>
@robdylan (Comment 141) : Ben is probably not 20 yet! 😉
@Ice-Cool CC Champ 2010 (Comment 135) : I think Die Antwoord is just a noise.
@robdylan (Comment 141) : I’m also a huge Depeche Mode fan. I listened to some of the tracks of their first couple of albums the other day and most of it was utter crap. They really only started to make decent music when Black Celebration was released.
Jack Parow!!! You have to give it to the guy for being original.
@Ben (Comment 140) : oh sorry – my bad 🙂
Keith Richards is the guitarist from the Rolling Stones… the original rock’n’roll bad boy. It is, quite frankly, a miracle that he isn’t dead, after all the shit he’s done. Or, then again, maybe he is dead and just hasn’t realised it yet.
Have you seen Pirates of the Caribbean 3? (I hope not – awful movie). Anyway, if you have, Keith does a cameo as Captain Jack Sparrow’s dad
@Pokkel (Comment 146) : nah – he’s not original. He’s just uncouth. Swearing a lot is not really original. Just vulgar.
OMG – I just turned into my parents!
@robdylan (Comment 147) : What is even more amazing is that after all that he has done and his age he has hardly slowed down.
@robdylan (Comment 147) : okay thanks now I know to!
@Pokkel (Comment 143) : I’m 23 so its a bit before my time!
bloody hell – my band is doing well… up to £43k already
@robdylan (Comment 147) : haven’t seen the movie I can’t watch pirates of the carribean no 1 iretated me allot
@robdylan (Comment 5) : Nice tune!!
@Ben (Comment 152) : That was the only one that was any good 😉
What rolling stones?
@robdylan (Comment 83) : Have you seen the concert Elbow did with the BBC Concert Orchestra? Awesome!
Ian Dury is the guy who sang Hit me with your rhythm stick, Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, Wake up and make love to me, etc.
@Culling Song (Comment 93) : Dude, you’re the only other person I know who likes Liars ;-). Scissors gives me goosebumps and the video is fantastic. It won the Vimeo award for best video: http://vimeo.com/9591751
@Pokkel (Comment 96) : I would give my left
nutarm for Long Pig, but I can’t buy it anywhere ;-(@Ben (Comment 155) : No….Pirates no 1
@Culling Song (Comment 130) : Die Antwoord should be fading into black shortly, Max Normal was a much better product than this weird little party pack.The boy can spit rhymes but how much times do you want to hear “ma se p>>>” on an album, I must say Jack Parows verse on Wat Pomp Julle is out of this world
@Pokkel (Comment 156) : can’t say I enjoyed it best movie I’ve watched lately was inglorious basterds! Haven’t seen a better 1 after that
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 158) : Die Antwoord is huge in Europe. I see them regularly on NME and MTV Germany. Before someone caught on what p**scool meant the fully uncensored version had been airing for weeks already 😆 .
I agree that Max Normal was a better quality product, but one has to give the dude credit for creativity and promotion – there are some marketing “experts” who should sit up and take notes.
Die Antwoord (as you said) will likely fade to black, but Jones will pop up soon enough afterwards with something new and super-satirical for everyone to either love or hate.
@rhineshark (Comment 159) : True that sir
@rhineshark (Comment 159) : While I may not be convinced by Die Antwoord, I totally worship at the altar of Waddy Jones. The guy is just a bundle of creative energy, and doesn’t limit himself to a single field of endeavour. The packaging he devised for the Constructus Corporation album is some of the best I have ever seen, period, and I should know, being an unashamed and unrepentant cool-packaging-collector-slut.
DMX baby!where da hood at
I’m a breast man myself………. 😛
@KSA Shark © (Comment 163) :
No Idea what I’m on about????? Ctrl+F5.
if it’s not clear what my new avatar is then go and look here.
http://blogs.food24.com/chantellebell/lemon-chicken
😛 😛
@Culling Song (Comment 162) : YIP, the guy is pure, creative genius.
DMX was brilliantly bad. Tupac still rules the streetz, although Kanye deserves respect.
I see no mention of Marvin Gaye or Sam Cooke. Unwashed Philistines…
@Big Fish (Comment 166) : Come on now,when everybod made a scene about slim shady DMX just dropped PARTY UP and that was it for the real slim 😎
@Honey Badger (Comment 167) : Party Up was one of the worst rap songs recorded ever.
@Big Fish (Comment 166) : Was thinking about that on the drive in this morning.No soul.So sad
@Big Fish (Comment 166) : Continuing the rap thread, any fans of Dizzee Rascal out there?
Yesterday my better half was playing TV on the Radio when I arrived at home. It sure ain’t soul, but Tunde Abepimbe and Kyp Malone have the kind of voices that could have made them soul/R&B legends.
Just saw this on news24. http://www.sport24.co.za/Rugby/Beast-off-to-hunt-up-north-20101214 . Anyone have more info? Rob?
@Culling Song (Comment 169) : I wish Dizzue Rascal would be quiet.
I am smaaking that tune by Bongi Dube
Stop the Press !
What is this shaize I read on Twitter about Beast leaving us? 👿
Can anyone confirm or deny?
@Original Champion (Comment 172) : Exactly, see my post above.
@Pablo Dinero (Comment 173) : Hope someone in Sharks management approached Coenie Oosthuizen by now.
If this deal goes through we are well and truly stuffed up front.
Coenie is the only viable option unless we can get BJ Botha back in a hurry.
@Original Champion (Comment 174) : No on both accounts!! We want Beast and noone else. Look at how he destroyed Tialata in the Baabaas game while Coenie had done… nothing. Pay him what he wants, just get him back!!!
@Original Champion (Comment 174) : Beast and Coenie are 1s, BJ is a 3
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 176) : But Van Staden can go to 1 hehehe
Wonder if Shrek is still happy in Snor City. . .
If Jaco Engels was willing to move maybe he`ll be as well?
Just suggestions guys.
@Pablo Dinero (Comment 170) : I saw Tank Lanning saying he is in financial poo.
I wonder if we could get Pat back if Beast does end up going???
@lostfish (Comment 179) :
Surely Beast won’t be able to just leave the Sharks for the Lions as he has a valid contract with the Sharks… oh wait!! 🙄
@wpw (Comment 180) : It seems like no contract is 100% solid anymore…
@Culling Song (Comment 169) : Dude i like your music acumen but are you dave birch by any chance?
@Pablo Dinero (Comment 170) : I wrote an article about that a few weeks ago
@ruggabugga (Comment 183) : Oh crap, my cover’s been blown! Seriously though, given my patent lack of any form of musical talent beyond pressing the “play” button on my cd player, you may want to retract that statement before the real Dave Birch sues you.
@robdylan (Comment 184) : but now there is a twist that the Beast is hard up for cash.
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 169) : It was top ten on the charts and the cd debuted at number one,I don’t think that is to bad.
@lostfish (Comment 186) : I wrote this before seeing the new story…
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 114) : great singer of the old times and still going strong
