The time has come to reveal the final standings in the Ultimate Sharks Fan competition that we ran over the last two weeks. Remember that each entrant will be awarded 10 Sharksworld points for each point they earned in the competition.
Rounds 4 and 5 really tested the team, with very few entries actually submitted for those rounds. It’s a pretty big shame, since even a single correct answer in round 5 was worth 50 Sharksworld points. As mentioned, our winner was the aptly named Champion Shark, who got 94% right (that is taking the weighting into account). The surprising thing is that the second-best score belonged to someone who was only playing “for fun” and isn’t even a Sharksworld regular (or a Sharks fan at all). As a former rugby journo, though, De Jongh Borchardt certainly knows his stuff and his score of 89% is truly admirable.
I’ve decided to award an extra 250 Sharksworld points to all entrants who managed to get 80% or more, so well done to Frikkie se Broer, Rhineshark, Danman110, war1 and Gregg for achieving such great scores.
