  • Rich..looks like kingsmead does not like batsmen..this test has seen too many wickets fall in too few days..think today might be the last chance to get lotsa wickets..pitch has to slow up sooner or later…this test was made for the quickies..if only we had a 3rd bowler who could fo 140km plus would be good..

  • Tomrrow 60% chance of rain. Maybe a draw. Then again if it is overcast not going to be good for batting. Think we will struggle, so bring on the rain 🙂

  • @Ben (Comment 27) : Yip, think we had better hope for rain for tomorrow if it is overcast. Though think we will come in to bat later today. No clouds about by me so don’t think any rain for later, we had better bat well and not lose any wickets.

  • @Ben (Comment 29) 😳 Okay then…hehehehe.

Just watching the Ashes umpires got plenty wrong there and the referrals work well. I heard India never wanted the referrals during this series. We should have none of that and it should be compulsory now for all teams to have it.

  • Aus & Eng use all available tech as it should be.

It makes the SA India series look amateur.

Absurd not to have the same conditions for all tests. ICC probably more concerned that lunch & tea breaks are strictly adhered to than whether the correct decisions are made on field. Decisions by the way that can make or break a player/coach’s career or series.

  • @McLovin (Comment 31) : We should have had the referrals in this test. Morkel got a absolute plum lbw about a hour or so ago and umpire just would not lift his finger… 🙄

Daft if have tech we must use it. Remember Oz never wanted it when we played there two years back either. All has changed since then though.

  • @McLovin (Comment 34) : IMO I think its a touch too green. A few centuries could do. The groundsman asked a few players what pitch they want. All of them agreed on the Green Mamba except home boy Amla, who said a tad bit more batting friendly would suit them

Gonna need a good ole dose of bloody-mindedness in our batting to hit this target.

Hope the boys can show the cojones, but very wary of the Turbinator over the next 2 days…

  • We need to keep our cool and just score the runs slowly but surely. We have 3 days to score the runs.

Punish the bad balls and ignore the rest.

Pleased to see Kallis is still there with AB, that gives me a bit of hope.
