DHL Stormers coach Allister Coetzee has made no changes to his lineup that did duty against The Sharks in Durban last week.

The DHL Stormers team to face the Reds at Newlands on Saturday :

15 Gio Aplon, 14 Danie Poolman, 13 Jaque Fourie, 12 Jean de Villiers, 11 Bryan Habana, 10 Peter Grant, 9 Dewaldt Duvenage, 8 Duane Vermeulen, 7 Francois Louw, 6 Schalk Burger (c), 5 Andries Bekker, 4 Rynhardt Elstadt, 3 Brok Harris, 2 Deon Fourie, 1 Wicus Blaauw.
Subs: 16 Ethienne Reynecke, 17 CJ van der Linde, 18 De Kock Steenkamp, 19 Nick Koster, 20 Ricky Januarie, 21 Gary van Aswegen, 22 Juan de Jongh.

I hope that we don’t see Brok Harris moving over to loosehead when CJ comes on because thats about as big a failure as the Nick Koster wing experiment.

  • According to Morne Esben Peter Grants left knee is heavily strapped and he sat out training.

  • I’m so happy Ricky Januarie is on the best the last few weeks. Good thing for SA’s sake.

  • @Ben (Comment 3) : No best was correct. Best place for him is not in the starting 15. Can think of better places but lets not go there.

  • I’ve got the same uneasy feeling about this game, than the one I had before the Chiefs/Sharks game. . .

  • @Ben (Comment 9) : No, that might be his favourite place to be, but he needs to stay away from McDonalds, and all other fast food eateries as well! 😆

  • @Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 1) : That will serve Craig Ray of The Times right for pitching Grant as the understudy for Morne in the WC and apparently completely forgetting all about Patrick Lambie in the process. I just love Destiny being a bitch to stupid, dumb-ass journalists who should know better!

  • @Dancing Bear (Comment 11) : I reckon Januarie will be in Div’s WC squad no matter what, so it’s actually best for all of us if he stays fit and gets some game time.

… unless of course Div suddenly starts taking his consultants’ advice, but I can’t see it happening!
