Planet Rugby reports Cheetahs hooker Adriaan Strauss is set to return to action when his side faces the Hurricanes, in Bloemfontein, on Saturday.

The burly hooker has been out of action with a broken hand and will be among the reserves for this weekend’s clash.

Strauss is one of three changes from the squad that lost 24-21 to the Highlanders, in Dunedin, last week.

Barry Geel replaces the Corne Uys at inside centre and Rayno Benjamin takes the place of Wilmaure Louw on the left wing.

The Cheetahs have a bye after this week’s match.
