Pumas vs Sharks XV at Mombela Stadium, Witbank
Referee: Quinton Immelman
@Danman110 (Comment 54) :
The Eastern Province Kings scored seven tries but still had to hang on for a nailbiting 45-43 (halftime 21-10) win over the Griffons in a wildly entertaining Vodacom Cup match played at the North West Stadium in Welkom on Friday afternoon.
72min. Try! Hoffman breaks down the line and gets caught at the Pumas 22 but he offloads and the ball gets spread to the other side of the field and Rosko Specman scores. Coversion missed. 29-27 to the Sharks
@G West (Comment 59) : yeah baby!!!!!!!!!

@G West (Comment 63) : 😳

@Danman110 (Comment 66) : 😀
@Danman110 (Comment 66) : 😆

Thanks for the updates. MUCH appreciated. 😎
Sjoe that was close! But a win is a win 🙂
What a game that must have been. Thanks Gerard. To be able to text while watching a tense finish takes some doing. Well done.
@KSA Shark © (Comment 74) : When and where is our home quarterfinal?
Great stuff Sharks XV!
Awesome SharksXV I love these tight games!
@beet (Comment 77) : Not decided yet.
There could still be quite a few log position changes with results still coming in for today and tomorrow’s games.
Will only be finalised at about 18:00 tomorrow after the last game.
@KSA Shark © (Comment 80) : I Doubt it will be at home.
We will in all likelyhood emd 3rd.
That (I think) would mean we play 2nd in the other section at their home.
@KSA Shark © (Comment 81) : I thinked 😉 correctly
1.2.1 QUARTER-FINALS
After the completion of the single round in each section, the four teams with the most log points in each section will play against each other in the quarter-final matches as follows:
North 1 versus North 4
South 1 versus South 4
North 2 versus North 3
South 2 versus South 3
I predict we will be going to Kimberly to play the griquas in the 1/4 finals.
Good night.

@KSA Shark © (Comment 80) : Crap you’re probably going to be right. I guess it’s an AWAY showdown with WP if the Leopards can’t do us a favour.
Well home now, and back in front of the pc which makes it so much easier to type. I think i need a small laptop or something cause man it was really hard to do live updates on a phone, plus the game was really tight and physical. Plus we all know men can’t multi-task no matter how hard we try! hehe. Deysel was huge tonight and is really looking in good shape! But i must take my hat off to Conrad Hoffman, definitely my man of the match! He was all over the show, had a major impact on attack and made some great breaks, he really is a talented player with a lot of potential.
Sorry again for the updates being vague and few in between.
Will try this again but hopefully not on a phone. 😳
Oh and Daniel Adongo is freaking massive!!! the dude stands out like a lion stuck in a dead tree that has no branches! He really is an impressive looking player, he did not get a lot of game time tonight so i will not try and rate him but he definitely makes an impact just by his size and build.
@G West (Comment 87) : It’s not everybody’s cup of tea, but there’s more good rugby at Nelspuit Hoerskool tomorrow in the Nu Power Cup incl. Waterkloof vs HTS Middelburg. Many are of the opinion that Waterkloof is the best schoolboy team in SA this year and HTS has this l/fwd Kwagga Smit who’s an “yster” and will hopefully be joining the Sharks Academy next year.
@G West (Comment 86) : G.West well done mate, keeping everyone here up todate. Only just read it here now.
Pleased to hear Deysel had a good game same with Hoffman. Sharks gonna need both to be in top form for the rest of the S15. hehehe Odongo sounds huge!! 😛 Would like him to get more game time really.
Anyhow well done to our Sharks VC side.
@beet (Comment 85) : Yip it will probably be WP they are undefeated thusfar.
10
Well played. Good team you have here.
@Speed7 (Comment 91) : Who are you and how did you get Speed7’s login details. 😛 😉
Well done GWEST. It’s bloody hard to do updates on a phone especially when it’s a high scoring game. Good job and congrats to the Sharks XV!
Thanks G West. And that’s why I want us to invest in Adonga, his size, speed and aggression will be a weapon for us for years to come!
@KSA Shark © (Comment 92) : 😆
Well done GWest.
@beet (Comment 88) : until and if they play grey college!!!
Thank you all for all the cool 😎 messages 😳 .
Next time i will try to do better thou. I’am thinking of doing live text commentary for all the games, i just need to get one of those Drifta decoders for dstv 🙂
