With 2/3 of the season done and dusted, thought it a good idea to see what lies ahead within the last 3rd of super rugby 2011. There’s still a lot of rugby to be played and yes anything can happen.

@franshark (Comment 7) : yeah but catched up on all the sleep yesterday. Slept from 5 last afternoon untill 5 this morning. 🙂 what a boring fight it was, wasn’t even worth it!

That will leave us behind the Stormers with the loss to the Stormers in the league phase biting us on the arse. 🙁
The above is the way “I” would go with a prediction.
The way we are playing at the moment the Bulls and Cheetah’s aren’t looking like certain wins anymore. 🙄
Not impossible but a bit optimistic. We really need to make the 2 games against the Bulls count. That is what will make or break our season. The Bulls, although not having the best of seasons, never goes down easy and will be a massive test for the Sharks. It will always help if the Bulls can beat the Stormers for us as well.

Franshark, I love your enthusiasm but the Sharks have three away games. Waratahs and Lions should be wins, but the Bulls have their backs against the wall and Bok positions on the line so will probably win one if not both games. Cheetahs seem to have sorted out their problems and aren’t going to be the walk overs they were at the start of the tournament. This game is a 50/50.
@waje (Comment 14) : game against cheets always 50/50, but they look good against not so good opposition, we should beat them comfortably.. Lions too, and – gave us a loss against bulls at loftes

Its thursday and time to do the sb picks, for my ‘play’ to work out the following teams need to win: Blues, chiefs, Crusaders, Highlanders, Bulls. The Sharks and Waratahs is getting 4 points for mahala.
I must say i have my suspicion about the highlanders not coming to my party
Sharks will be in the race, but hells teeth do we need to fix our setpiece. Can’t be bossed at this level.
