Here is the final Sharks Under 19 squad for the upcoming season. As with the Under 21s, a wider training group has been named, who will train the squad once a week.

The big talking point will no doubt be the inclusion of Paul Jordaan at inside centre. On a personal note, it’s good to see Simon Kerrod, a Pretoria Boys High old boy, included in the team.

  • In my honest opinion Dylan Smit is better than that ex grey college scrummy nicol linde…..hmmmm smit you should have signed for the bulls just like your 5  pumas mates…..we need back up for our SA under 18 scrummy rudi van rooyen.

I was watching that grey college vs affies match thank god that massive tall prop neethling fouche who uncle hugh bladen could not stop singing his praises from grey college is going to the bulls….him and Pierre Schoeman will make the SA under 18 side.

I was not that impressed with henco greyling……lets hope xander janse van rensburg and heyneke meyer do their out most best to sign those two grey college centres swanepoel and serfonten….it looks like we fancy grey college players especially the talented centres with francois venter and william small smith already at the bulls we have a chance to sign dries and serfonten plus out budget wil be bigger

Our craven week side is very talented…..flyalf francois tradoux…prodigy full back sean robinson….srumhalf carlo engelbrecht…number 8 roelof smit…prop pierre schoeman….and the 17 year old and sa under 16 outside centre janse van rensburg have a chance to make the sa under 18 side….it’s a pity duncan williams our new brent russell poached from bolandis injured.

  • @Muzi (Comment 2) : Dillon Smit was at the rugby yesterday but he’s done his shoulder. Kwagga played openside in the u18 game and did NOT disappoint but word is that he’s joining the Lions next year.

I’ve watched Henco Greyling in 4 games this year and I also think he’s struggling to live up to the promise he showed last year. Nevertheless I’d still sign him in a second if it was up to me.

  • What also helps is that the bulls have school programme well i call it the poaching academic strategy  they pick waterkoof…garsfontein…not affies anymore and another couple of schools in pretoria…it’s simple they send scouts to grant khomo week yes they look at under 16 and the best under 16’s…then who ever makes the High performance SA under 16 squad is offered a bulls juinor contract and a school to attend in pretoria that is why down there at paarl the parents are up in arms…..Duncan Williams apparently the next brent russell is one of the 4 players from the 2010 SA under 16 High performance squad who was sent to pretoria i’m not complaining some may shout…scream….hate the bulls we are not greedy we just want the best for the bulls  😆

  • @Muzi (Comment 5) : That can’t be Surely?!?! Why just a few short days ago Morne was telling me how somebody close to the team was telling him that you can’t buy a team, you need to build a team.

The Bulls would NEVER stoop so low as to start poaching 15 year olds already.
