Our man on the scene, war1, has kindly offered to provide commentary for this game.

The kick-off is at 14h30 and we’ll update the team sheets as soon as we get them.

The Duikers side generally contains a talented group of the best players from the KZN club ranks and should put on an exciting display of running rugby.

  • Sorry all. Just settled into my seat now. The scoreboard has the teams as Durban Districts and Loftus 200. I could not manage to find a team sheet.

  • Both teams are wearing club socks so are probably similar combinations. It’s a bit surreal sitting an almost empty Loftus. Reminds me of 2001.

  • Districts Score!! I cant see the numbers on the players jersies. A grubber through was spilled on the line and was picked up on by a Districts player. Conversion is over. 10-0 after about 15 mins.

  • @Pablo Dinero (Comment 5) : Unfortunately I know fringe and young players more by name and would not be able to pick them out.

  • Scoreboard has gone back to Duikers. Loftus team score in the corner after some good build up play.

  • My phone is being ridiculous. Anyway, both teams look full of running and both have their chances but it’s still 16-7 after 38 and a half mins.
