Now this is where things start getting interesting as the first of the teams facing knock out from the play offs take to the field. The Waratahs need to beat the Brumbies to progress to the playoffs in this year’s Super Rugby tournament, and in the progress will knock out either the Sharks or the Bulls, which ever team loses the next match.
Should the Brumbies win however, they will knock out the Waratahs and both the Bulls and the Sharks will qualify for the playoffs. At the end of the day this will still be an Australian derby, which are generally dour boring affairs, and the Brumbies will want to end their season in some decent form, whilst seeing of Matt Giteau in a reasonable fashion.
Most Sharks supporters will be temporary Brumbies fans for the day, so those that will be watching should tune in around 11h40 for kick off.
