Baby Boks coach Dawie Theron has made four changes to the team that beat Ireland to face Fiji in the 5th place IRB Junior World Championships final taking place tomorrow. A brisk summary is that all the Sharks players have once again been dropped to the bench.

Juan Schoeman and John Roy Jenkinson come in either side of Bongi Mbonambi in the front row, with the impressive Nic Schonert falling to the wooden seats. Francois Kleinhans, the flank, has been replaced by Nizaam Carr on the side of the scrum.

Ulrich Beyers continues at fullback while Jaco Taute is outside Francois Venter in the centres. The impressive Johan Goosen will continue in his role as pivot.

South Africa U20 – Ulrich Beyers, Tshotsho Mbovane, Jaco Taute, Francois Venter, Wandile Mjekevu, Johan Goosen, Pieter Rademan, Arno Botha, Cornell du Preez, Nizaam Carr, Eben Etzebeth, Jean Cook, Jon Roy Jenkinson, Bongi Mbonambi, Juan Schoeman.

Reserves: Michael van Vuuren, Nic Schonert, Carl Wegner, Francois Kleinhans, Lohan Jacobs, Paul Jordaan, Courtnall Skosan.

  • 20-10 half time. Good game esp when Eng backs attack with some good interchanges. NZ profitted handsomely from counterattacks.
