Livewire loose forward ‘Red Hot’ Keegan Daniel has been confirmed as the Sharks’ captain for the upcoming Currie Cup campaign.

John Plumtree announced that he will look to the future by appointing Daniel as the captain, with Stefan Terblanche offering support as vice captain.

This is a great move and we’d like to congratulate Keegs and wish him all the best for the season ahead. I’m sure I can say with certainty that we’re all 100% behind him.

  • Ok, where is the real Plum and what have they done with him? Is this the same coach who earlier played his players into the ground because he didn’t back his youngsters? But seriously, this is great news and I think its one of the best moves Plum has done since he moved Lambie to flyhalf. Go Capt. Keegan!!!

  • @Culling Song (Comment 17) : That reminds me of Madagascar (the movie). In the beginning Marty the Zebra is running in slow motion across a field with that victory lap song playing… then Alex the Lion interupts him!!

I can just imagine you in your office… running around in slow motion… the victory lap tune playing loudly… and then your Blue Bull supporting boss walks in (music stops, u stop dead in a midyear leap) and says, “Hoekom doen jy nie jou werk nie?” 😆

He is simply brilliant week in and week out… Don’t give me that look that says you have no idea what I’m talking about. There is no way you cannot agree… that he is a simply excellent commentator 😆 😆 😆
