The news on Fred Michalak’s hamstring injury is, I fear, no better than it was yesterday. The good news, though, is that it is no worse either!
Sharks doctor Ewoudt van der Linde is sticking to his “50-50” prognosis on Michalak, stating that the final call as to his involvement against the Cheetahs this weekend will only be made on Friday. Expect the Frenchman to be bracketed with Jacques-Louis Potgieter, then, when the Sharks team is announced on Thursday.
The news is better when it comes to the other players who took knocks against the Pumas, with Marcell Coetzee, Marius Joubert and Louis Ludik all cleared to play this weekend.

Oom Dries Sorry Ice that i only answer u now , yes Marcell has got an older brother he is 22 years old and plays his rugby in Nelspruit his nick name is Shabal looks like the French legend and plays just as hard.Marcell sighned a two year contract with the SHARKS today very proud and hope God will bless him with no serious injuries.

Ja Oom Dries was even harder then his sons and many Pukke students could be heard asking, asseblief Oom moet my tog nie weer my slaan nie, in games against Potch Police.Oom Dries also stayed loyal to Port Natal when big schools came scouting his sons.

These hambstring injuries are damn buggers really. If Freddie show just a niggle still on Thursday rather rest him. We need him for the rest of this tourney.
Jeez we will miss him for the Cheetahs game that is for sure, but really don’t want him to play and make it even worse and he then misses the whole season. Rather let it heal proper.
