The 2nd Tri-Nations game takes place this morning, with a lot of us feeling that we will be happy with a good showing and a win not being on the cards.
Well that is why I expect this team to surprise both us and the All black with more than just a good showing, but still coming away with a loss.

The only thing good about Basson is his red/orange shoes well done AB a deserved victory…deysel had a good game but once again we give away possesion unecessary which leads to tries. Our backline going nowhere …pdv and co to go otherwise we stand no chance in wc. Face the facts…morne not a fullback and it was a very stupid idea…not negative …just sad

Smit is at least got heart and i got to say that with each game he is performing better and better…and lambie attacked advantage line…what about ad jacobs he made a few breaks but basson kept on holding on too long…whats the use of mvovo if not beimg fed a ball…i counted only. One pass to mvovo…basson shocking and another waste of space…the quicker jacque fourie or jp get in the better….i honestly have no idea for our fb position???? I still say lambie if butch slots in…ruan is tOoOo big and slow a scrum half
@Ben – I only saw one good thing from Danie today..he seems lethargic (as most forwards) most of the game. How bad is Stagmann’s sportsmanship?! What an ass! I think Lambs did very well, would have love to see a bit more playmaking than just passing from him though. And I think we neutralised SBW quite well – but that’s just my opinion.
Oh ja – and I thought Mostert did very well too.
What i have noticed…the all blacks always have their wing and fb in close quarters when in defence of a kick…then a centre falls back between the two to give an assist to counter attack…we rely too much on one man to do a job without support? Our defense is shocking and i cannot rate our current defense coach at all…we got to go back to basics and what we did in previous wc
And whilst their forming their counter attack,there are other abs getting into position to obstruct infront of their counter attacking spear.the frontline is a shield that sweeps away defender or two for the spear to thrust through the gap.

I agree with bergshark as for the shield and spear counterattack of the AB…when we try to follow up on kicking possession away the AB on purpose run back in such a way by obstructing the chases and any other boks moving forward…very clever and by the time we reach them they already have for a line advancing in a straight line feeding to the next only when sucking in a SA player. Mccaw plays disruptive all the time by obstructing our key players…this must be pointed out for future games as it is not sporting but cheating…how can the same player be penalised x4 without given a yellow card. If it were bakkies or schalk they would have been binned. Boks always get bad end grrrrrrr…
