Numbers, numbers… where are the numbers?

Regular readers will have noticed that our weekly “by the numbers” statistical analysis of the Sharks seems to have gone AWOL in recent weeks.

The unfortunate reason for this is that site that we get our stats from,, seems to have had some sort of problem that they’re not telling us about. There have been no statistics uploaded there at all since the end of the first round of Currie Cup matches, two weeks ago. Thus, the stats against the Blue Bulls and the Pumas simply aren’t available for us to analyse.

We’d like to apologise to our readers for the inconvenience caused and hope that our friends at Ruggastats can overcome whatever issues they’re facing. The site really is a great resource and we hope that it can be brought back up to date soon.

  • That’s a real shame. Aren’t the ruggastats guys NZ based? Could this be World Cup related?
