The first of the Currie Cup action this Super Saturday sees the Cheetahs host the Lions in a cat fight that can either stretch a lead at the top of the table for the Lions or continue a great climb up the ladder for the Cheetahs.
The Cheetahs have continued with their selection of Johan Goosen at flyhalf after the youngster won Currie Cup player of the month for September, and I am sure he will continue in the form he has been in, as he faces off with another young talent in Elton Jantjies.
The Lions have unceremoniously dropped scrumhalf Rudy Paige and welcome back Michael Bondesio to partner Jantjies in the halfbacks, and have not selected a scrumhalf on the bench, with Francis, Kamama and Des Fountain making up the backline reserves.
This match should be quite entertaining and will be a big blow to the losing team. Kick off is at 15h00.

This could be interesting Cheetahs on attack and Bondesio on the ground gets a foot to a player and trips him Adv Cheetahs.
Cheets awarded a penalty, lion player lying on the ground and tripping the attacking player, very close to professional foul if you ask me
Jonker only gives a PK for playing the man while on the ground. On the replay it is clear that Bondesio had no option but to make contact as he was going arse over kettle at the time and had no control of his legs.
