  • As ti stands the Bulls need to get 60 (if WP win only by 1 and don’t score 4 tries)…

But lets be conservative and give WP 15 point win…then the Bulls need to win by 74…

So far 3 min…still 0 – 0 and the Bulls got there first warning for foul play (again Greyling)…

  • I can understand if Greyling is angry on the field….in the last 4/5 games I thing he only caught 5% of the balls passed at him…he knocked a crap load…think it was against the Sharks he knocked 4 balls in a row within like 10 min…lol…no wonder he is always frustrated…

  • Bulls mall…send down line…kick through but Brummer scores but was in front of the kicker…no try…

Leopards kick touch for the penalty…very well fielded by Visser to keep in field…but a forward pass by Akona…

  • Leopards send ball down backline…intercepted by Basson who passes to Brummer who gets his first try in 25 games apparently….conversion missed….

After few phases Bulls turn over ball and sends Basson out…wide..beats a few defenders but passes forward on the Leopards 10 meter line….

  • Bulls win ball in ruck after Leopards send through few phases from the scrum…Bulls put through few phases…ruck penalty agains the Leopards…Bulls play into Leopards 22 to concede a penalty for going off feet….

Leopards tap…break the defense…keep the ball alive…just for Tossel to knock 3 meters out….not covered at all…

  • Final score Bulls 92 – 21 Leopards…

    71 points dif….

So the Pumas have to prevent the WP from scoring 4 tries and keep the points dif down to 13 or less…WP by 14 no matter the no of tries sends them through to Coke park for the semi’s…

  • @Muzi (Comment 71) :

We actually do not have decent commentators in SA…

They ALL make mistakes in games…players etc….Bob Skinny is the worst…just cause he tries to be clever he actually says dumb stuff…he might actually not be bad if he just tries to be normal…lol

  • Bulls move to second for most points scored behind only the Cheetahs….passing the Lions by 9…but conceded by far the most of the top 5 sides…Lions conceding least with WP second fewest points….

  • the leopards where useless. That bulls flanker decent -potgieter I think and I was impressed with the bulls pack -their ball carriers had a top game tonight! One wonders whether they played that well or the leopards being completely out of it played like marshmellows?! hard to say ,the leopards tackling was rather poor.

I have faith in Pienaar though he looks to be a savy coach

  • @Franshark (Comment 95) : They did more damage to themselves by letting 21pts get scored against them than they did good by scoring 92pts.

They could have held the Leopards scoreless thereby pressuring WP into having to win with a 35pt margin. A 14pt margin will be managable, but 35 would have been near impossible.

Hell even 21 or 28 would have given WP headaches, but I don’t believe 14 will be a problem. The Bulls have cost themselves a semi through very poor defence.

  • @Hmmm (Comment 93) : And it seems conceding points has been a bit of a theme for their season. 😛
