After waiting for what seems like an age for all his paperwork to be finalised, Stefan Terblanche has finally arrived in Northern Ireland and started training with his new Ulster team mates yesterday.
Terblanche, who signed on with the Ravenhill side as temporary injury cover for Jared Payne, was met at the airport by former Sharks teammate (and current Ulster captain) Johann Muller and can’t wait to get stuck in – he may even feature for Ulster in this weekend’s Heineken Cup clash against Aironi.
Our good friends over at the Front Row Unions caught up with Stefan on arrival. Click here to hear what he had to say.

I don’t like the part that says he is there “temporarily”… The Shark’s coaches better not get any “smirt” ideas… 😕
He will probably shine as a centre there. 😈
Let’s do a test and see how long it takes for him to shine and for someone to call for his return. 😆
@KSA Shark © (Comment 3) : ha ha :). Good point
@robdylan (Comment 4) : I see on the photo his walking in all alone, wife and new born at home I guess. could be a long few months ahead for uncle Stef.
@KSA Shark © (Comment 3) : I’ll venture a guess that you could probably set your clock by it 😀
@Franshark (Comment 5) : Tough on his wife at home…that is until his paycheck arrives! Wud be silly to move his family for a couple of months only. I hope he does well and pursuades Muller and Pienaar to return to SA soon!
Ruan doesn’t want to come back . His wife is expecting a baby and he wants to stay in Ulster.
