It should count for something boldwise that Siyanda Ndlovu went to Pinetown Boys High just like a great Sharks lock (sometimes flank) did.
I’d like to see Verster with a bit of clear air in front of him this evening.
UJ up 16 – 0 slippery conditions but some good skills on show.
NMMU defending like trojans.

Half Time UJ – 24 NMMU -5

UJ – 24 NMMU – 10
@robdylan (Comment 7) :
Botha on the wing for UJ the Nambian has 2 tries.
Howard Mnisi imo is having a very solid game looks very good.
@csb (Comment 9) : cheers. I likes the look of Botha at the World Cup.
UJ : Malton , Botha(2) NMMU Pretoruis, Swanepoel .
@robdylan (Comment 10) :
Yea he had a great WC along with a couple of other Nambians ..pacey fellow.
UJ have turned down peanuts on 4-5 occasions now in rather kickable postions.
This new scoring system is certainly pushing for more tries.
It could grow on me actually …till the Kiwis and Aussies decide to change it … 🙄
Very impressed with the Madiba’s defence ..UJ been all over them and they are holding out very well …another try from NMMU and its game on.
@csb (Comment 6) : Already is one of the top 5 in SA IMO.
Ndwandwa knocks on over the line very unlucky with the bounce.
Score remains 24-10 UJ 58 min.
Madiba’s coming back very well.
@KSA Shark © (Comment 15) :
Have to agree very composed and doesn’t miss much ..also communication with players is top draw.
If the Bulls away jersey r pink wonder if they’ll play with a pink ball at home 😛
@csb (Comment 17) : And to me the most important thing to go along with all that is he doesn’t take offences by the players as personal insults to him, unlike some of the “top” refs.
Esterhuizen with the bonus point try.
Converted 32-10 UJ
@csb (Comment 18) : The WP boys play with pinks balls in the changeroom 😳
Guy Cronje converted 3 tries from the touch line great kicking …
Yellow for UJ missed the offence …oh early tackle by Dylan Peterson …just came on.
Madiba’s hot on attack.
@KSA Shark © (Comment 19) :
Agreed, non of this I’ll show you whose boss atitude…
@KSA Shark © (Comment 21) :
😆
Correction RJ Liebenberg with the yellow and not Peterson.
32 – 10 70th min UJ
Du Toit with another UJ try
Guy converts 40-10 73min.
Justin Wheeler with the final try after some determined play way after the hooter.
Full time 48 – 18 clean kicking display by Guy.
UJ wins …
NMMU showed alot of guts on defence but UJ just the better team on the night ..some lovely backline tries in slippery conditions.
MOTM Jaco Kriel ..2 matches on the trot.
