Sharks lock Alistair Hargreaves has confirmed, via Twitter, that he has been diagnosed with a stress fracture to his left foot.
Hargreaves has played no rugby since the Sharks’ internal trial match some 3 weeks back – it seems he’s been awaiting results of an MRI scan which have now confirmed the injury. According to the tweet he’ll be in a moon boot for around 3 weeks, with a return date currently not clear.
Good luck, Al – hope to see you back soon.

Good luck to him, hope to see him fit and living up to his true potential
why on earth did i have him in my FL team .. EPIC FAIL !!!!
@Zibbie (Comment 2) : even without the stress fracture, that would have been a fail. 😛

He probably damaged it himself, so he couldn’t get blamed for the shocking lineout work on Friday. Probably saw Bismarck’s throwing and dropped a brick on his foot. 😆 😆
