Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske has made two changes, both enforced, to his back line to face the Bulls in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

The unfortunate Dusty Noble – cousin of Sharks centre JP Pietersen – sustained a knee injury in last weekend’s loss to the Lions which seems quite serious, while inside centre Andries Struass pleaded guilty to a dangerous tackle charge earlier in the week. The latter has been suspended for two games.

Philip Snyman has been selected in Strauss’s number 12 jersey for this week’s clash, while former Boland player Willie le Roux will earn his run-on cap for the side at left wing, In a positional switch, Rocco Jansen will move from left wing to the right.

The forwards remain unchanged, while Cameron Jacobs comes onto the bench to take le Roux’s place.

Cheetahs: 15 Hennie Daniller, 14 Rocco Jansen, 13 Robert Ebersohn, 12 Philip Snyman, 11 Willie le Roux, 10 Johan Goosen, 9 Tewis de Bruyn, 8 Davon Raubenheimer, 7 Philip van der Walt, 6 Heinrich Brussow, 5 Izak van der Westhuizen, 4 Andries Ferreira, 3 WP Nel, 2 Adriaan Strauss (captain), 1 Trevor Nyakane.
Replacements: 16 Hercu Liebenberg, 17 Lourens Adriaanse, 18 Waltie Vermeulen, 19 Ashley Johnson, 20 Piet van Zyl, 21 Sias Ebersohn, 22 Cameron Jacobs.

  • Pretty Average team i must admit. I wont comment until we play them but that team looks like they will fare well in the Vodacom Cup!
