Round 2 of Super Rugby will see a few games that will be easier to call in terms of a winner, and will no doubt bring with it a few tight games that can go either way. Make sure to have a look at the odds below and back your team. Remeber to look below for details of great Marshalls competitions.
The Chiefs host the Blues, with both teams looking for their opening victory after tight losses in the opening round. One feels the Blues will have too much fire power following the Chiefs loss in personnel.
Chiefs – 19/10
Blues – 5/10
The Rebels start their season at home against the Waratahs, and again both teams will be looking for their first win points of the season after the Waratahs lost to the Reds last weekend. The Waratahs will be match fit and just too strong for the Rebels.
Rebels – 26/10
Waratahs – 4/10
The Lions hosting the Hurricanes sees the first team that won a game last weekend face off against the Canes who looked much better than most anticipated them to be against the Stormers. The Lions will be full of confidence after their close win over the Cheetahs, and will look to take advantage a weak looking New Zealand outfit.
Lions – 6/10
Hurricanes – 17/10
The first match on Saturday morning sees the Highlanders host the Crusaders, both teams coming off victories in round one. One has to feel that the Crusaders will be too strong for the Highlanders, but this game could really go either way, as the Highlanders surprised all and sundry with a victory in this fixture last year.
Highlanders – 26/10
Crusaders – 4/10
The Reds play the Force in what should be one of the easier games to call this weekend.
Reds – 2/10
Force – 5/1
The first of the South African derby matches is in Bloemfontein where the Cheetahs play host to the Bulls, after their victory against the Sharks. The Cheetahs led for most of their match against the Lions, but will not be a match for the strong Bulls outfit.
Cheetahs – 11/10
Bulls – 8/10
The final match of the weekend is down in Cape Town, where the Stormers take on the Sharks in a match that again, could go either way. The Stormers have lost their captain, and the Sharks lost their opening match and are nursing a fair few injuries themselves. I suspect the Stormers at home will be too strong for the men from Durban.
Stormers – 6/10
Sharks – 14/10

i hate it when the Lions are favorites to win. they have a habit of cocking those up .
@Zibbie (Comment 1) :
Which begs the question when was the last time we were favourites …
@Zibbie (Comment 1) :
Not too bothered this team has grown and is no longer the Lions of yester years …
I anticipate a very good game friday night..
Are you going to Ellis Park ?
Unfortunately have to agree with those odds in the Newlands game….
Although my heart wants to go the other way!!!
I’m in agreement with all the picks …just the Sharks – Stormers match I’m unsure of ..it can really go either way imo.
Oh and perhaps the Rebels to upset the Tahs …
Punter if you have a moment could you kindly review my avatar ..?

@Zibbie (Comment 1) : They can’t be as bad as the Sharks in that regard.
A nice little treble for the day:
Blues
Waratahs
Lions
24/10
So if you bet R100, you win R240 plus your R100 back.. 😎
@lostfish (Comment 8) :
We dont get that tag as often as the Sharks . but we like loosing games we are favorites to win just as much as the Sharks
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 9) : Went with Tahs, Lions and Crusers. Got 2.23 odds.
Stayed away from the Blues derby, they let me down last week. 👿
