The Rebels start their Super Rugby campaign after having their bye last weekend, and face the Waratahs who come off a last minute loss to the Reds.
The Rebels have James OβConnor making his debut for the Melbourne based team, with Kurtley Beale having to wait until later in the campaign to make his debut. Having not seen anything from the Rebels thus far, it is impossible to speculate exactly how good they will be.
The Waratahs came out firing last week, leading the Reds through most of the second half before the Reds scraped home, and should come out firing again this weekend, looking for that first win. Halangahu continues at pivot as captain, with Adam Ashley-Cooper shifting from fullback to wing, to make space for Aussie Sevens star Bernard Foley.
I expect a bit of a scrappy match, with the Rebels making all the mistakes and silly errors that every other team had the chance to make last weekend.

Bryce is giving the teams a lecture. “There is some pushing and shoving going on but it’s a man’s game so I’m gonna let it stand”
