Berrick Barnes has recovered sufficiently from his groin problem and has taken over the 12 jersey for the match against the Highlanders this Saturday. Barnes replaces Tom Carter, who drops to the bench while Daniel Halangahu retains the pivot jersey.
Amongst the forwards there is only one change, with Pat McCutcheon replacing Chris Alcock on the side of the scrum, the latter recovering from an eye wound, but still takes up a spot on the bench.
The Waratahs face the Highlanders in New Zealand, a trip that many teams will now feel nervous for, following the Highlanders’ good start to the season.
Waratahs: 15 Bernard Foley, 14 Tom Kingston, 13 Rob Horne, 12 Berrick Barnes, 11 Adam Ashley-Cooper, 10 Daniel Halangahu (captain), 9 Sarel Pretorius, 8 Wycliff Palu, 7 Pat McCutcheon, 6 Dave Dennis, 5 Kane Douglas, 4 Dean Mumm, 3 Sekope Kepu, 2 Tatafu Polota-Nau, 1 Benn Robinson
Substitutes: 16 John Ulugia, 17 Paddy Ryan, 18 Lopeti Timani, 19 Chris Alcock, 20 Brendan McKibbin, 21 Tom Carter, 22 Brackin Karuaria-Henry

@JarsonX (Comment 4) :
I can see a few (literally 2) games that I am comfortable with.
The rest, I am not sure of at all..
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 5) : ‘Comfortable’ does’nt exists in Super Rugby’s vocabulary 😈
Hope Barnes can stay fit… Good footballer. And not only that, Tom Carter is a knob. There is a reason Deysel choked him half to sleep… Tool of the tourney, yes more than Danny.
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 5) :
yea . and i dont think lions sharks will be one of the comfortable once 😛
@JarsonX (Comment 6) :
yes . you learn that very quikly
At first glance this round looks easier to predict than I thought.
Only the force/canes and this one that`ll be 50/50 calls.
Maybe I shouldn`t have said that 😯
