The Stormers side to face the Blues at Newlands this weekend has been named, with the return of Peter Grant to the starting flyhalf position the main talking point.
Grant played an instrumental role in the side’s narrow win over the Sharks in round 2 and comes in for Gary van Aswegen in the only change to the starting team. Van Aswegen will play off the wood this week.
“We all know what Peter can bring and he is an experienced player who is strong on both defence and attack so it wasn’t a difficult decision to bring him back now that he is available,” said Stormers coach Alister Coetzee of the move.
DHL STORMERS – Joe Pietersen, Gio Aplon, Juan de Jongh, Jean de Villiers (captain), Bryan Habana, Peter Grant, Dewaldt Duvenage, Nick Koster, Duane Vermeulen, Siya Kolisi, Andries Bekker, Eben Etzebeth, Brok Harris, Tiaan Liebenberg, Steven Kitshoff.
Replacements: Scarra Ntubeni, Frans Malherbe, De Kock Steenkamp, Nizaam Carr, Louis Schreuder, Gary van Aswegen, Gerhard van den Heever.

Too early to say Blues by 7?

Decent side. I think the Stormers will take it.
Blues will take it.
So glad I’m not playing Superbru this season. All the games are so hard to pick.
@Talent (Comment 6) : You probably missed my comment – it’s right above yours. Don’t worry though, it’s easy to miss. Stormers will take it. 😈
