Deysel fail fitness test?
@JJR (Comment 1) :
Not available for Super Rugby, so counts as an injury..
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 2) : Sharks XV has been named and no Deysel there 🙁
@JJR (Comment 3) :
And Jordaan starting, so no Super Rugby for him..
Ive got 3 players on that list 🙁
@JarsonX (Comment 5) : I’ve had to switch Kaino out and Masaga and Anthony Faingaa are injured. This weekend’s byes are hurting me 🙁
2 injuries , 1 suspension , 9 bye players
@Zibbie (Comment 7) : I’ve got about the same…not good!!
7 bye players. Hmmm, maybe my position is better than I thought looking at the situation everybody else is in.
I now need to think who to trade out and who to bring in
@ChrisS (Comment 8) :
5 transfers left .. really not good … im still kicking myslef for transferring out Wulf . he should be banck next round after missing 3 rounds . But i hang onto Anthony Fainga’a who is out for longer ..
I have 11 players out because of byes. I realy hope beale starts again this weekend, otherwise i have 12 players gone. This wont help me to get the top spot. 👿
If the chiefs lose this weekend, alot of us will be screwed on last man standing. 😆
@Zibbie (Comment 11) : I am debating bringing in Spies even though he is on a bye this week because he seems to be quite the points machine for the forwards.
@lostfish (Comment 14) : Not as great a points machine as I’d hoped.
@Groot Leeu (Comment 13) : Don’t even say that 😯
@Zibbie (Comment 11) : How long is Faingaa out for?
I have 12 players missing this week!!!
@StevieS (Comment 15) : He is the top scorer so far for the other forwards.
@lostfish (Comment 17) : Wow, I’d better look again at the stats. Ok, much happier now. Thank lostfish
@ChrisS (Comment 16) :
think he will miss at least the next 2 weeks (he was not named in the Red’s touring squad)
For this round I have 1 injury and 8 byes, pending Sharks team announcement.
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 4) : That sucks Yes; but i hope it is just so that Jordaan can get some more gametime under his belt before the tour. They did the same with Adi jacobs on occasions in the past.
@JJR (Comment 21) :
and look where Adi is now …
Isn’t Kendrick Lynn playing for the Western Force?
There are two lions players that you have not listed, Mike Rhodes and Dylan des Fontein 😉
@Zibbie (Comment 22) : 🙄 How can that statement be applicable to this situation? Jacobs was like 30/31 years old and Jordaan is 19 years old.
@JJR (Comment 25) :
that makes it even worse … i think the Bulls scouts are rubbing there hands together in anticipation 😈
@Zibbie (Comment 22) : Sharks most likely released Jacobs knowing that Jordaan will be able to come into the frame…same reason Jacques Engelbrecht was never signed, cos young Marcell Coetzee was a very promising youngster they knew would become great…Jordaan will be the same way.
@JJR (Comment 27) :
good luck on that one
@Zibbie (Comment 26) : Why? Sharks players don’t leave for Bull country unless they getting like 0% gametime at The Sharks and they over 22 years old.
Bulls poach Sharks left overs, Sharks keep their best players, they only release players if they confident they can replace them.
Bulls scouts 😆 We all knew Jordaan was class before he left school. Bulls don’t have Heyneke, nobody gonna go to Bulls. Like i said Sharks don’t go to Bulls country, especially guys that have already played for The Sharks in CC or Superugby.
Look at Adongo…playing Varsity Cup…his situation hasn’t changed for the better. Adongo should’ve gone to Lions if he wanted some 1stXV Rugby. Leaving Sharks to go to Bulls is never beneficial for the player. Nhlapo also playing VC, he would’ve been our 2nd choice loosehead right now had he stayed at The Sharks.
@Zibbie (Comment 28) : What makes you think otherwise?
Also Jean Smith for the Cheetahs and Bandise Maku and Waylon Murray for the Lions
@Mutley (Comment 31) : That list is pretty incomplete, hey 😆
@JJR (Comment 29) : im just saying giving game time to a player who is seen as a talent in vodacom cup , while he is not playing SR might not be the best thing . theses days players want to play SR . and they will go where they will get it
@Zibbie (Comment 33) : Im not saying he will or wont leave .
this is actually funny . hehe
nut ill rather see young players get there chance at SR level and prove themselves then doing it at international level
