Drew Mitchell will miss the entire 2012 Super Rugby season due to a recurring ankle injury. The winger has had a unlucky run in terms of injury, missing most of last year’s Super Rugby season due to a similar injury, and also missing most of the Australian World Cup games due to a torn hamstring.
Mitchell, who was anticipating a return to rugby halfway through the competition, received the bad news from a specialist, ruling him out for a further 4 months, and with that ruling the player out of not only the Super Rugby campaign, but also the June Internationals.
This is the second winger the Waratahs have lost for the season after Lachie Turner tore his hamstring in preseason, and will be without their first choice pair for the remainder of the season.

Bad news.

I feel for the guy..
I have always liked him, very good player..
I fear he will never be the same..
Blues have also lost a winger for their game against the Stormers tonight. You could almost make a team out of their injury list.
