Today’s match kicks off at 16h30 on KP2 and entrance is free.
The Sharks XV find themselves in second position on the South Section log and with pace-setters WP playing against the hapless Border, the boys in white and black need to put in a solid performance against the winless SWD to keep the pressure on the log-leaders. EP and Free State, who are breathing down the Sharks XV’s necks, play each other today, so only one of them would profit from a Sharks slip-up here.
The SWD team, predictably, isn’t available anywhere because they haven’t invented a website yet.
Sharks XV:
15 Gouws Prinsloo, 14 Sbu Sithole, 13 Wandi Mjekevu, 12 Heimar Williams, 11 Rosco Speckman, 10 Fred Zeilinga, 9 Cobus Reinach, 8 Tera mthembu (Capt), 7 Bry Stander, 6 Chris Cloete, 5 Piet-Steph du Toit, 4 Peet Marais, 3 Allan Dell, 2 Kyle Cooper, 2 Danie Mienie
16 Monde Hadebe, 17 Maks van Dyk, 18 Braam Steyn, 19 Khaya Majola, 20 Conrad Hoffmann, 21 Piet Lindeque, 22 Jors Dannhause

@Richard Ferguson (Comment 19) : Is it right about now when the Sharks thought they had the game in the bag? 🙄
@Ben (Comment 20) : eish… I’ve seen this film before
@robdylan (Comment 21) : Its one of those horrors that gives you nightmares.
wow – very disappointing last 20 minutes
Sharks XV 38 – 20 SWD Eagles.
Full Time
Eish. Expected at least 50 points!
The Vodacom Cup is just a means for players not good enough to make the Super rugby squads to keep fit. I know its a negative comment but I mean what’s glamorous about playing SWD on KP2. I really can’t see the VC being around permanently. I just don’t think the interest is there in this competition.
My comment aside congrats on another win. I still think we’ll see a few of these guys in Super rugby before the end of the competition.
Full Time in PE.
EP Kings 36 – 24 Free State XV
@Ben (Comment 27) : 😆
Hi all. Please can anyone tell me what time is kick off between the Sharks and the Brumbies on 31-03-2012? In South African time please. I was caught off guard last Saturday and almost missed the whole game.
({})?????????? ?({})?
And now suddenly Supersport has it as 36 – 22. 😕 🙄
@SheShark (Comment 29) : 10:40
@Ben (Comment 30) : According to the Cheetahs’ FB updates 24 is correct.
@KSA Shark © (Comment 28) : Is jy so bly die mielie boere het verloor? 😆
@KSA Shark © (Comment 32) : Don’t think so. They had 17 and then they scored a try. Smit missed the conversion as far as I know. Think that’s why Supersport changed it back. Must have added those 2 points accidentally.
Guess the Eagles didn`t exactly soar . . . 😆
