The Stormers have announced their squad to tour Australasia for four weeks, with the biggest omission being that of their Captain Schalk Burger, who is still not close to pulling a rugby jersey over his head.
The full match 22 that beat the Bulls this weekend will be joined by Siyabonga Ntubeni, Nizaam Carr, JP du Plessis and Deon Carstens on the plane to New Zealand, where they take on the Highlanders on Saturday.
Jean de Villiers will continue as Captain in the absence of Burger, as the Stormers go into round seven of the campaign as the only remaining unbeaten team.

Landers vs Stormers should be a good game to watch.
Nice to see future superstar and potential future Springbok captain JP du Plessis there.
@hendrikp (Comment 2) :
You are hilarious! 😉
Well done on the Stormers win btw, it was a good performance..
@hendrikp (Comment 2) : He’s with WP so he must already be a superstar surely. 😆
JP has to wait in line while Koster has the Bok captaincy
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 5) : 😆 Hey Claytie. How good was JdJ against the Bulls? Really impressed me again ey.
@hendrikp (Comment 2) :
You happy with Siya’s progress so far? He seems to be coming along nicely.
@KSA Shark © (Comment 4) : With Hendrik, anyone who has a good game is the future Bok captain.
@Ben (Comment 6) : He seems to be getting over the advantage line at will. Was really impressed with him. Who got MOTM honours? I missed that part.
@vanmartin (Comment 9) : Tiaan Liebenberg
@lostfish (Comment 8) : no no… anyone who plays for the Stormers and has a halfway reasonable game is a future Bok captain
@hendrikp (Comment 2) :
Hou op stront praat! 😈
@Clayton(PJLD) (Comment 5) : 😆
@hendrikp (Comment 2) : I thought Johan Goosen is the future Bok captain? 🙂
@Ben (Comment 10) : Thanks!
@Ben (Comment 14) : we’re going to need about 3 different Bok teams to accommodate all Hendrik’s captains. Maybe we should make Straeuli coach again, then everyone can have a go?
Of course, we all realise that hendrik was having a self-deprecating laugh, right? 😉
@Big Fish (Comment 17) : naturellement, mon ami!
