Bad news for bulls fans is that Deon Stegmann and Willie Wepener are both expected to miss this weekend’s clash with the Crusaders at Loftus Versveld, with several other also nursing injuries ahead of the big game.

Stegmann’s hamstring has kept him out of the last 3 games for the former champions and show no signs of healing in time for this one either, while Wepener’s facial infection is also still causing him trouble.

Other to pick up injuries against the Stormers are Dean Greyling (bicep), Juandré Kruger (neck), Jacques Potgieter (jaw), Johann Sadie (knee) and Chiliboy Ralepelle (knee), while Bjorn Basson and Louis Fouché also missed out on Monday’s training session due to flu.

None of the above-mentioned is currently expected to miss Saturday’s game, though.

  • Please can someone tell me what is a facial infection?/

  • Would guess Bell’s Palsy is one of them.'s_palsy

Had it a couple times, usualy doesn’t take too long to get rid of with medication. But as the article reads it might lead to lasting damage.
