The Crusders have made just one change to the side that beat the Lions last week, as they look to pick up their second successive win on South African soil.

All Black playmaker Dan Carter has been eased back into the side after recovering from the groin injury that curtailed his World Cup last year. Carter was introduced off the bench against the Cheetahs and started against the Lions, but in both games, it was rookie Tom Taylor who was entrusted with the goal-kicking duties. Carter will resume that role as well against the Bulls this weekend.

Taylor, a specialist flyhalf himself who was pressed into service as a makeshift inside centre against the Lions, in order to accommodate his boot in the side, now switched places with Ryan Crotty, the latter coming into the number 12 shirt. Otherwise, the same outfit that played in Joburg will take the field in Pretoria.

Crusaders: 15 Israel Dagg, 14 Sean Maitland, 13 Robbie Fruean, 12 Ryan Crotty, 11 Zac Guildford, 10 Daniel Carter, 9 Andy Ellis, 8 Kieran Read (capt), 7 Matt Todd, 6 George Whitelock, 5 Samuel Whitelock, 4 Luke Romano, 3 Owen Franks, 2 Corey Flynn, 1 Wyatt Crockett.
Replacements: 16 Quentin MacDonald, 17 Ben Franks, 18 Tom Donnelly, 19 Luke Whitelock, 20 Willi Heinz, 21 Tom Taylor, 22 Tom Marshall.
