The second Australian derby, and bound to be another dour affair as we saw yesterday morning, sees the Brumbies taking on the Rebels. The Brumbies are the top Australian team, and the Rebels are hot off a victory over the Blues last weekend, so it should be an interesting match in terms of who comes out victorious.
The Brumbies will tour to South Africa after this match, and will want to pick up valuable points before taking on the Bulls and Lions away from home. The match against the Rebels would have been targeted from the beginning of the season as a five pointer for Jake White’s men, but it might not be a sure thing.
The Rebels have been a much improved team this year, and will only improve as their new stars in James O’Connor and Kurtley Beale settle in their roles. A victory over the Brumbies today will only further compact the Aussie conference.

@JarsonX (Comment 10) :
My MPs were out by ONE point on Sharks and Waratahs wins (haven’t looked but could be in with a closest pick BP share in either of those), 5 points on Saders win and out by 19 on the Brumbies win.
4 from 4 with 3MPs and I’m GREEN on LMS. 😎 Good weekend for me. SO FAR 🙂 I have Chiefs and Bulls for the remaining fixtures.
One LMS picks for the Rebels. Bombardier has been blown away.
Five pick for the Brumbies.
