There’s been some good news for former Wallaby great, Michael “Noddy” Lynagh, who has been released from hospital after suffering a potentially deadly stroke two weeks ago.
The World-Cup winning flyhalf, who is a regular TV analyst for Sky in the UK and has won many fans for his insightful, balanced commentary, spoke to the media for the first time today after his hospitalisation. He admitted that while there is a concern about his vision – he has reportedly lost 45% of the sight in his left eye – he realises how lucky he is to be alive after a ruptured artery in his neck could have killed him.
We’d like to wish Michael all the best for a speedy recovery. It’s good to have you with us, mate and we’re sure that the eyesight will come right in time. If it doesn’t, though, there’s always a future for you on the Kiwi reffing panel!

All the best Michael.
Good news so far, hope the recovery is full.
