The Cheetahs have lost the service of two locks to European clubs, with George Earle and Izak van der Westhuizen both moving to Pro 12 clubs in Wales and Scotland.
George Earle has signed for Scarlets in Wales while Izak van der Westhuizen will feature for Edinburgh in Scotland, with Earle expected to leave after Super Rugby 2012 and van der Westhuizen competing in the Currie Cup before going across.
Van der Westhuizen will be joined in Edinburgh by fellow Cheetah WP Nel. We would like to wish all three players all the best over there.

Cheetahs are really struggling to keep their players. I thought WP Nel and v.d. Westhuizen did not do too badly for them this season
how long before a pair of young locks desperate for game time start to look at Bloem as a potential destination…?

Actuallyyyyyyy. When is the last time a Sharks player left us for the Cheetahs other than Andries Strauss?
