In a weekend with two top six clashes and another top six team on a bye, there are bound to be a few non-event matches, with the previous game and now this match not really having a bearing on the bigger picture.
The Cheetahs have struggled to win a match and even though they put together good performances and run teams close, like the Stormers last weekend, they just cannot manage to close a game. Will they be able to beat the Waratahs at home? They should, but will they actually care?
The Waratahs welcome back Drew Mitchell, who will play his first rugby match in nearly a year, and will be keen to score some tries again. This is the first of two matches in South Africa for the ‘Tahs, and one they will be planning on winning.
