Deon Stegmann, who will be out for one more week, is the only current injury concern in the Bulls camp as they prepare to face the Cheetahs in Super Rugby this weekend.
The 3-week break has been good to the Pretoria franchise, it seems, with those players not involved in the Bok squad given a chance to work out all the bumps and bruises. Even Zane Kirchner, who was forced out of the second and third tests against the English with a knee complaint, is apparently fit again and will be considered at fullback for the must-win derby.
Stegmann’s recovery from a broken arm is on track and he might even play next weekend, against the Sharks.
The Bulls have lost their last three games in succession and will want a strong turnaround in the final three weeks in order to secure qualification for the knock-outs. They are currently in fifth position on the Super Rugby table.
