Pine Pienaar has named his Blue Bulls side to take on Griquas in the first match of 2012’s Currie Cup. Dewald Potgieter will lead the team onto the Loftus turf, ahead of a 7pm Friday night kick-off.
Potgieter will have two other test Springboks in the starting line-up, in the form of winger Akona Ndungane and flank Deon Stegmann, with Bok discard Werner Kruger falling even further from grace, playing off the bench behind Frik Kirsten. The Bulls have called up youngsters aplenty, with the likes of Ulrich Beyers and Clayotn Blommetjies making first starts at this level.
Look out for Lions Super Rugby player Grant Hattingh on the bench, as long as Baby Bok hero Jan Serfontein.

Wow Jan Serfontein and Grant Hattignh… It will be great to see how they fair at senior level (talking especially about Jan)
