Happy Women’s Day all!
It’s amazing to see that the only time most people blog is when they are at work.
Public holidays and this place becomes a ghost town – anyway, just quickly checked in at the office – off to enjoy the rest of women’s day…bye

@Ice (Comment 7) : Yup swimming… I just checked the thermometer and it is 36 C in the shade. It is rather warm here.
Happy Women’s Day! I had to babysit all morning so I’m taking it easy watching Gladiator and chowing some droewors! 😎

@Ice (Comment 13) : I used to get mocked for my heated blankie in Durban. I don’t mind the heat but it is hard with a 5 week old. She spends most of her time in only a nappy or nothing at all on a towel with a waterproof sheet underneath. Winter here gets quite chilly and I quite like being able to go up into the mountains to go snowboarding (it can get down to -14, sometimes colder with windchill) but I always like knowing that I am going back to where it is warmer. I am not a big fan of the cold but it is so worth it to go snowboarding.
