After a superb come-from-behind victory over Griquas in Kimberley, Western Province look set to go into this weekend’s Lions clash with their latest wing talent, Ederies Arendse.
News 24.com reports that Arendse, who scored on his Currie Cup debut on Saturday, injured his ankle and looks certain to be unavailable for the clash against the Lions in Johannesburg this weekend.
In other injury news, Deon Fourie should be fit to face the Lions after leaving the field with an ankle injury during the Griquas clash, as will Marcel Brache, after he suffered a cut to his face. Rynhardt Elstadt could also come into the selection frame after missing the start of the Currie Cup.
