The Sharks under 19 side have made just one injury-enforced change to their starting fifteen for this weekend’s game against SWD at Kings Park.
Pretoria Boys high lock-cum-loosie, who enjoyed a promising first start in the number 7 jersey against Free State, unfortunately picked up an ankle injury which will sideline him for this weekend’s game. His place in the loose trio goes to former Oakdale skipper Francois van der Vyver. Van der Vyver will wear the number 6 jersey, with Andrew van Tonder, who scored a try last time out, moving over to the blindside to accommodate.
Louis Hazelhurst comes onto the bench to provide second-row cover, with Theo Kruger continuing to operate as the loose forward replacement. Aside from that, the team is unchanged, meaning matric pupils Marne Coetzee (Glenwood) and Gideon Koegelenberg (Hugenote) will start again, along with Hilton’s Cameron Wright; the star scrumhalf, unbelievably, is still in Grade 11!
