The first of the three Currie Cup encounters today starts us off in Kimberley, where Griquas host the Bulls to kick of the second phase of pool games. Griquas come off two very good wins against the Lions and the Sharks, and will look to make Kimberley a fortress again.
They have made only two changes to their team with Matt Dobson coming in for the suspended Ryno Barnes, while Jannie Boshoff comes back on the wing, where he missed out last weekend due to an injury concern.
The Bulls have dropped Blommetjies, Sadie and Snyman(rested), giving Visser the fullback jersey once again while Ulrich Beyers gets a second shot in the midfield. Rudi Paige gets his shot to start while Snyman takes a break, but will still see action from the bench. The Bulls are currently bottom of the log and will look for a big push for semi-finals in the second round of action.
