SARU have just confirmed that Sharks hooker Pieter Dixon will attend a disciplinary hearing this evening.
Dixon was red-carded on Friday night after his boot made contact with the head of Bulls loose forward Arno Botha. The consensus amongst most watching was that the incident could not possibly have been deliberate – however, the match officials clearly disagreed.
Advocate Jannie Lubbe will chair the hearing, which starts at 6pm. We’ll update you as soon as we have a verdict.

He should never of even been penalised for that. What a farce.
No further penalties or anything for Dixon. He may play this weekend.
